Why we started DraftPilot:

Before founding DraftPilot, we were the founders of Lexoo (which sold to Kalexius in early 2024). In the 10 years at Lexoo, our team of lawyers negotiated thousands upon thousands of vendor contracts, NDAs and SaaS Sales contracts on behalf of multiple in-house legal teams who were our customers.

In-house legal teams are almost always stretched to deliver against aggressive timelines – this was where we recognised AI could be a force for good. AI can do the heavy lifting on the standard parts of every contract, freeing you and your team to spend more time on the tricky bits; the human relationships – and apply the unique context that only you can bring.
