What you can do with Contract Generator

  • Generate new templates

    Specify the type of contract you need (e.g. NDA, SaaS agreement, loan facility) and add context about your role or requirements. DraftPilot will produce a clean, structured agreement with recitals, numbered clauses, and boilerplate.

  • Expand heads of terms into full agreements

    Upload a term sheet or heads of terms, and DraftPilot will build out a long-form contract with all the missing detail: boilerplate, obligations, and standard provisions.

  • Incorporate reference documents (optional)

    If you have a precedent, policy, or regulation you’d like the AI to learn from, you can attach it when generating your contract.

How to use it

In Word

  1. Open the DraftPilot add-in.

  2. Go to Tools → ✨ Generate Contract.

  3. Enter your contract type and context.

  4. (Optional) Attach reference documents or heads of terms.

  5. Click Generate.

In Browser

  1. Log in to app.draftpilot.ai

  2. Go to Tools → ✨ Generate Contract.

  3. Fill in contract details and context.

  4. (Optional) Upload reference documents.

  5. Click Generate.

Tips

  • Be specific in your context. The more detail you provide (e.g. your role as discloser vs. recipient, governing law, jurisdiction), the closer the output will be to your needs.

  • Use precedents. Attaching a contract you already like helps the AI align its drafting style and clause structure.

  • Iterate. If the first draft isn’t perfect, refine your input or attach additional references.
