How to generate a contract

You can generate a contract with the dedicated Contract Generator tool or in AI Chat. The video shows both routes, using an amended and restated agreement built from a signed agreement and its amendments.

Use Contract Generator

  1. Open DraftPilot in Word or in the browser.
  2. Go to Tools and select Generate Contract.
  3. Identify the contract type and the party you represent.
  4. Choose the language.
  5. Add the facts and drafting requirements that should shape the document.
  6. Attach any relevant precedent, signed agreement, amendment or heads of terms. In the example, the signed agreement and amendments provide the source material for an amended and restated MSA.
  7. Generate the document.

Generate a contract in AI Chat

AI Chat may be a better fit when you need to analyse existing documents before drafting. For example, you can ask it to summarise several amendments and then produce an amended and restated agreement based on that analysis.
